Corrections Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Mistakes happen even with careful review. This page explains how DailyScopePost handles them when they do.
How to report a possible error
Email corrections@dailyscopepost.com with the article URL and a description of what you believe is incorrect, along with a source if you have one. We review every submission.
How we evaluate a report
An editor checks the claim in question against the original sources used for the article and, where needed, additional authoritative sources. If the original claim is confirmed accurate, no change is made, though we may add clarifying detail if the original phrasing was ambiguous.
How corrections are made
- Minor corrections — typos, formatting issues, or small clarifications that don't change the substance of the article — are fixed directly without a separate notice.
- Substantive corrections — changes to a factual claim, figure, date, or attribution that affect the reader's understanding of the article — are noted with a visible correction line at the top or bottom of the article stating what was changed and when.
- The article's "Last updated" date is refreshed whenever a substantive correction is made.
What we don't do
We don't silently rewrite substantive claims without disclosure, and we don't delete published articles simply because they're later found to contain an error — we correct them transparently instead, except in rare cases involving legal or safety concerns.
