Editorial Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

This policy explains the standards DailyScopePost's editorial team follows when researching, writing, reviewing, and publishing content.

Accuracy

We aim for every factual claim we publish to be correct and verifiable against a credible source at the time of publication. Where we're uncertain about a fact, we either verify it before publishing or leave it out.

Independence

Our editorial decisions — what we cover and how we cover it — are made independently of advertisers, sponsors, and any outside party with a financial or political interest in our coverage. Advertising has no influence over editorial content or story selection.

Attribution

We attribute information to its original source and avoid presenting other outlets' original reporting as our own. Where we reference outside data or reporting, we identify the source.

Neutral presentation of political content

Our Politics coverage is written to describe institutions and events factually rather than to advocate a partisan position. We aim to present competing perspectives fairly on genuinely contested questions and to avoid loaded or inflammatory language in headlines and copy.

Corrections

When we publish an error, we correct it and, for substantive corrections, note that a correction was made. See our full Corrections Policy.

Conflicts of interest

Editorial staff are expected to disclose any personal, financial, or professional conflict of interest relevant to a story they're working on, and to recuse themselves from coverage where a genuine conflict exists.

Our use of AI-assisted workflows

DailyScopePost uses AI tools as part of an internal drafting and research workflow for some articles, particularly evergreen explainers. This is disclosed on relevant articles via an editor's note. Critically:

  • Every article, regardless of how it was drafted, is reviewed and edited by a human member of our editorial staff before publication.
  • We do not present AI-assisted content as original human field reporting, and we do not attribute fabricated quotes, statistics, or sources to any person or organization.
  • Breaking news and on-the-ground reporting, where published, reflect actual human reporting and are labeled accordingly.

Advertising separation

Advertising content is visually and structurally separated from editorial content. We do not disguise advertisements as articles, navigation, or other site content, and advertising placement decisions do not influence which stories we choose to cover.

Sponsored content disclosure

If DailyScopePost publishes sponsored or paid content in the future, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored at the top of the piece, distinguished visually from staff-written editorial content, and will not be presented as independent reporting or as an editorial endorsement.
